DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING IN MALLORCA
Take your first breaths underwater in a protected marine reserve along Mallorca’s breathtaking coastline. Our Discover Scuba Diving program is specially designed for complete beginners who want to experience scuba diving in a safe, structured, and personal environment.
You will dive in small groups (maximum 6 participants) accompanied by two certified PADI instructors in the water. This ensures maximum supervision, personal attention, and enough time for you to adapt to the underwater world at your own pace.
How Your First Diving Experience Works
Step 1 – Briefing & Preparation
Before entering the water, we explain the fundamentals of scuba diving:
equipment, breathing techniques, safety procedures, and underwater communication.
No previous experience is required.
Step 2 – Shallow Water Practice
In calm, shallow water you will practice key skills under direct supervision:
- Breathing underwater
- Equalizing your ears
- Clearing your mask
- Communicating with hand signals
We move forward only when you feel safe and comfortable.
Step 3 – Your First Dive
Once ready, you begin your guided dive in a protected area with a maximum depth of 6 meters.
You will experience true weightlessness, observe marine life, and explore crystal-clear waters in a relaxed and controlled environment — ideal for a first dive.
The Dive Site
Our dive site is located in a protected marine reserve along one of Mallorca’s most beautiful coastlines.
Entry is directly from shore via comfortable steps, making the experience perfect for beginners — no boat transfer and no rough sea conditions.
Transport to the dive site is provided in air-conditioned minivans.
Certificate
After successful participation, you will receive an official PADI Discover Scuba Diving certificate.
This may be credited toward your PADI Open Water Diver course if you decide to continue your diving journey.
Important Participation Information
- Minimum age: 10 years
- Participants under 14 must be accompanied by a legal guardian
- Participants under 18 require a legal guardian’s signature
- A minimum of 12 hours must pass between diving and flying
- Pregnancy excludes participation
- Participants should be in good general health and able to carry light equipment and move comfortably in the water.
Completion of the official PADI Medical Questionnaire is mandatory.
Depending on your answers, medical clearance from a doctor may be required before the dive day.

It is important to be ready for pick-up at our ticket office 30 minutes before the start of the activity. In order to ensure that the rest of the excursion runs smoothly, the shuttle bus departs on time and cannot wait!

Free parking spaces are available directly in front of the barrier. Nevertheless, allow a few minutes for unforeseen circumstances and be at the diving centre 15 minutes before the start of the activity.

Activity description
Upon arrival at our dive center, we’ll welcome you and start with the registration forms. If you are under 12 years old, you will need to be accompanied by a participating adult, and minors under 18 must bring parental or guardian consent.
Next, we will fit you with your diving equipment. We have a wide range of gear, ensuring that each participant has everything they need to fully enjoy their dive. After a thorough briefing on procedures and underwater behavior guidelines, we will head to a nearby spot on the Mallorcan coast in our air-conditioned vans.
The natural reserve we’ve chosen is one of the most stunning landscapes on the island. In this protected area, you will have time to get comfortable breathing underwater in a relaxed way before starting the dive. From the first moment, you will be amazed by the sensation of being in another world, surrounded by marine life.
Breathing underwater for the first time is an experience you will remember forever, and our guides will be with you at all times to make sure you enjoy this adventure to the fullest. The introductory dive is the perfect opportunity to spark your curiosity about diving and connect with the underwater world in a safe and fun way.
